In 1994, Michael started his construction career at the age of 17 as a carpenter's apprentice. Over the next ten years, he perfected his skills in construction before attending Clemson University and obtaining a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Michael then spent seven years in the corporate sector, gaining valuable engineering and business experience along the way.

Michael's construction career, coupled with his engineering background, gives him a unique set of skills that few general contractors possess. He understands a project from every angle, from the hands-on craft of the carpenter to the structural logic of the engineer, to the business discipline of someone who has operated at both ends of the industry.

In 2015, he founded Wright Constructors upon receiving his commercial unlimited contractor's license. Since then, he has successfully completed hundreds of projects, developed and sold dozens of his own investment properties, and as he'll tell you himself, enjoys his work every day.
